This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, and protect information in connection with my personal to-do reminder application (the “App”) available for Christopher Merritt-Lish at cmlprojects.com. This App is intended for my personal use only and is not offered for public sign-ups.

- Phone number: The mobile phone number I enter in the App to receive SMS reminders.
- Task and reminder details: Text descriptions, due dates, and related notes that I create for my own tasks, events, and deadlines.

I do not intentionally collect information about any third parties, and I do not allow other users to create accounts in this App.
2. How I Use the Information
I use the information described above only for the following purposes:
- To send myself SMS reminders and notifications about tasks, events, and deadlines I create in the App.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the App's reminder functionality.
- To monitor the performance and reliability of SMS delivery (for example, to troubleshoot delivery failures).
I do not use this information for marketing, advertising, or profiling.
3. Sharing of Information
I do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or personal information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
My phone number, message content, and related technical data may be processed by service providers that I use to operate the App, such as:
- SMS delivery providers (for example, Twilio) that send SMS messages to my phone number.
- Hosting or cloud service providers that store the App data securely.
These service providers are only allowed to process the information as needed to provide their services to me.
4. SMS Disclosures
- Message frequency: Varies based on the reminders I schedule.
- Message & data rates: Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt-out: Reply STOP to any reminder message to stop SMS reminders to that number.
- Help: Reply HELP for help.
5. Data Retention
I retain my task data and phone number for as long as I continue to use the App. I may delete tasks or reminders at any time from within the App.
If I remove my phone number or disable SMS reminders, the App will stop sending SMS messages to that number. Historical logs (such as message timestamps and delivery status) may be retained for a reasonable period for troubleshooting, security, and record-keeping.
6. Data Security
I use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information stored in the App, including:
- Limiting access to the App and related accounts to myself.
- Using reputable service providers that implement industry-standard security safeguards.
However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children and Age-Restricted Content
The App does not send or support age-restricted content (such as alcohol, gambling, adult content, or other age-gated services). The App is intended for my personal use only and is not directed to children.
8. Changes to This Policy
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or in legal requirements. When I do, I will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes means that I accept the updated policy.
